    The 9th Ohio was mustered into service on October 11,
    1861, in Cleveland, Ohio.  The men who served with the
    9th Ohio came from four northeastern Ohio counties:
    Cuyahoga, Geauga, Portage and Summit.  The 9th Ohio
    was mustered out of service on July 25, 1865.  This book
    tells the regimental history of the battery, what
    happened to these soldiers following the war, and the
    current day re-enactment group portraying the 9th Ohio.
